Designed as a temporary set for detailed photographic documentation and product review, a wall structure provided a versatile backdrop for USG Interior’s newest ceiling panel offerings. Rendered in uniform white light, two textured ceiling products were shown in both retail and restaurant applications. Creating definition, graduated lighting washed the wall planes. For a fiberglass-reinforced wall cladding product, the set became a full scale mock-up of a retail entrance. Among its various uses, the set design served to create photographic marketing materials and facilitated focus group strategizing and product evaluation.
